Removalss is a removals company based in Wood Green, north London. We move homes and offices across Great Britain and drive door-to-door removals to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. We explain the options before we quote.
Why does the site read like a guide?
Most people book a removal once every few years, often for a move they have never made before, such as a first move abroad. The questions are always the same: which service fits, what is included, what the paperwork involves, and what to ask before signing. So the site answers those first. The services pages say what each service includes and what it doesn't. The customs guide and the moving abroad checklist cover the admin. The quote form is there when you are ready.
Where do we work?
Our office is on Western Road in Wood Green, north London. We collect from anywhere in Great Britain, and London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Bristol are the most common starting points. Abroad, we deliver to four countries only: France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. A short list means the crew that loads your home in the UK drives it all the way to the new one.
How does every job run?
Local, long-distance and international moves follow the same pattern: a survey, a written itemised quote, goods-in-transit cover for the whole route, and one crew from loading to delivery. On international moves we also file the customs paperwork. What changes between them is the route and the documents, not how the job is run.
Why don't we publish prices?
Every move is different: the volume, access at both ends, the route, whether the load is shared, and the customs path. A headline figure on a web page would be wrong for most visitors. Send the details through the form, with photos if you have them, and we reply in writing with a quote for the whole job.
What don't we do?
We don't move to countries outside France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and we don't pass international jobs to agents abroad. We don't import vehicles; a specialist does that better. We don't publish testimonials as verified reviews: the examples on the home page are illustrative. And we don't give tax or immigration advice. Our guides link to the official sources, and for anything personal we point you to the right adviser.
How do we keep the guides accurate?
Residence and customs rules for UK nationals have changed several times since Brexit, and plenty of older guides online still describe routes that no longer apply. We review our customs guide, checklist and country pages against the GOV.UK "Living in" guides and the EU transfer-of-residence regulation, and each page shows when it was last reviewed. If you spot something out of date, email us and we will check it.
